Native Texan who grew up in the
Dallas suburb of Oak Cliff. Stevie was one of the best blues guitarists ever.
He set the new world standard for blues guitar. Since his death in a terrible helicopter crash, no one has stepped up to take his place. He amazed world class blues artists such as Eric Clapton and BB King and others. Stevie was lightning fast and didn't miss a lick.
Now Stevie ,along with his father, rests in peace at this lovely gravesite at laurel land Cemetery in Oak Cliff, Texas
